Biosketch

Olufunmilola Adisa, MD, MPH is a resident physician in the Family Medicine Residency Program (Battle Creek) at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate medical education at the Lagos State University College of Medicine and Masters degree in Epidemiology at Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University. She collaborated on several projects to improve maternal and birth outcomes within the United States and globally with the National Centre on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD) at the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Dr Adisa is passionate about the importance of nutrition across the lifespan. Her clinical, teaching and research interests include preventive medicine, health outcomes research and population health, especially among the underserved.
