Ridwan Adams, MD is a resident physician in the Family Medicine - Battle Creek residency program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. He is a graduate of the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Following graduation, he completed a one-year internship in Nigeria and subsequently gained clinical experience across various healthcare settings. One of my most notable roles was serving as a resident physician at a prominent sports medicine facility in Lagos, where he developed a strong interest in sports medicine and the care of active individuals and athletes. Dr. Adams later moved to Canada and worked as a Health Policy Analyst with the Government of Alberta, where he contribute to healthcare policy and system-level initiatives. While he has a particular interest in sports medicine, he also remains open to learning from all areas of medicine and value opportunities for broad clinical and professional growth. Dr. Adams is also passionate about volunteering, community engagement, and advancing health equity for diverse populations.
