Biosketch
Dr. Andrew Atkinson has an undergraduate degree from University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelors of Science, Nursing. After graduation, Dr. Atkinson successfully graduated from Saba University School of Medicine and completed his OB/GYN Residency at University Hospital Rutgers/Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Andrew loves coming to work every day to share in the challenges and the happiness of new moms and dads. He has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics. Andrew credits his father as being the biggest influence on his life. His work ethic and dedication to his family made Andrew the man he is today. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, especially watching his boys play hockey. He is also an avid Detroit sports fan, golfer and hunter.
