Liam Patterson, MD, MSc is a resident physician with the Family Medicine Residency Program – Battle Creek at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Columbus Central University School of Medicine (Belize). Dr. Patterson also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nipissing University (North Bay, ON) and a Master of Science in Aging and Health from Queen’s University (Kingston, ON). He has experience working as a Registered Nurse on an inpatient stroke and physical rehabilitation unit as well as in sleep medicine. Dr. Patterson was also a competitive cross-country skier in his youth and was selected as a member of a Canadian National Training and Development Center in Whistler, B.C. He was also a varsity skier and named to the Ontario Ski Team for several years. Dr. Patterson has a particular interest in working with older adult populations. His other interests include sleep medicine, travel medicine and sports medicine.
