Sarah Hagle, MD MPH, is a family physician who also specializes in obstetric care. She earned her bachelor's degree from Northern Michigan University before completing both her Doctorate in Medicine and Master of Public Health at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Hagle then went on to complete her family medicine residency, including additional obstetrics training, at the Michigan State University-Sparrow Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Lansing, MI. Following residency, she joined the St. John Family Medicine Residency Program as Family Medicine/Obstetrics faculty, where she also held clinical assistant professorships at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Central Michigan University College of Medicine, and St. George’s University School of Medicine and earned multiple teaching awards. From 2023 to 2025, Dr. Hagle served as core faculty in Family Medicine/Obstetrics at the University of Michigan Health Sparrow Family Medicine Residency and held an associate professorship through Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Her clinical, teaching, and research interests are centered around resident education, particularly in evidence-based medicine and patient-oriented evidence-based medicine. Additionally, Dr. Hagle’s focus includes full spectrum primary care, obstetrics, women’s health and contraception, preventive medicine, and population health.
