Mahvish Munir, MD, is a resident physician in the Family Medicine Residency Program-Battle Creek at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in kinesiology and psychology from York University in Canada. Following her undergraduate studies, she gained valuable experience working as a Behavioral Therapist for children with autism. She then pursued her medical degree at Windsor University School of Medicine in Saint Kitts & Nevis. Her interests include acute care medicine, hospital medicine, and procedures. She is committed to ensuring comprehensive access to medical care for underprivileged communities, offering medical education in low-literacy regions, and engaging in international medical volunteer work in developing countries.
