Biosketch

Sidra Shayan, MD, is a resident physician at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She graduated as a meritorious medalist from Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan, and followed that with a year of internship at Dr. Ruth K. M. Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi. She then contributed to the betterment of underrepresented communities through diverse clinical and volunteer engagements. Her interests include mentorship and instilling greater ownership of personal healthcare rights among her patients. She is dedicated to equitable healthcare access and compassionate patient care.
