Medical school welcomes two new faculty members

Matthew Kelly, MD, and Jordan Wroblewski, DO, recently joined the medical school as faculty members.

The medical school is pleased to welcome two new faculty members to its departments of Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology, including a former WMed resident.

Matthew Kelly, MD, MS, is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Kelly is an alumnus of the University of Michigan, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2009. He followed that up with a master’s degree in biology from Georgia State University in 2011.

Dr. Kelly earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2016. He went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at WMed in 2019.

Most recently, Dr. Kelly worked as an internal medicine hospitalist at Bronson Hospital Group since 2019. In that time, he also has served as a clinical assistant professor at WMed. At Bronson, Dr. Kelly was nominated for the Bronson Hospital Group Compassionate Physician of the Year in 2020 and 2021.

Meanwhile, Jordan Wroblewski, DO, has joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as an assistant professor. Dr. Wroblewski completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in physiology in 2009. He went on to earn his medical degree from MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2014.

After medical school, Dr. Wroblewski went on to complete a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at McLaren Greater Lansing. Most recently, Dr. Wroblewski spent five years as a physician at Ascension Borgess Women’s Health. His interests include obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, and promoting well-being and health.
