Gary Jones, MD

Biosketch

Gary Jones, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist and obstetrician and endocrinology and infertility subspecialist with The Fertility Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He completed an undergraduate degree in pharmacy from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. After working as a pharmacist for 3 years, Dr. Jones earned his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Rootstown, Ohio. He completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the United States Naval Hospital, San Diego, California, in 1989. Following his residency, Dr. Jones completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in 1991 at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Jones served as the Director of Reproductive Endocrinology at the Naval Hospital Oakland California until 1993. During his tenure, he also taught reproductive endocrinology fellows from the University of California San Francisco. He 1993, he entered private practice in reproductive medicine in Dearborn, Michigan, for 23 years. Dr. Jones moved to a private practice in Chicago, Illinois, from October 2016 until October 2020. Dr. Jones retired in 2020, but elected to resume practicing in 2022, and joined private practice in Reproductive Endocrinology in Grand Rapids to resume treating infertility patients, as well as to be near his daughter and granddaughters that live in Grand Rapids. Dr. Jones is a member of The Society for Reproductive Medicine, and The Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
