Biosketch

Cody Brainard, DNP, CRNA, is a certified registered nurse anesthetist practicing at Kalamazoo Anesthesiology. He is a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Michigan. He was a member of the Kalamazoo Cohort of the nurse anesthesia program during his time in school. Before attending Oakland University, he worked at Spectrum Health in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit where he served as a charge nurse and staff nurse. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Grand Valley State University in 2017. His clinical and teaching interests include teaching the next generation of CRNAs and exploring new modalities to provide anesthesia to his community.
