Biosketch

Laycie Lafler, DNP, CRNA, is a graduate of Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan, and board certified as a nurse anesthetist. Prior to earning her degree in nurse anesthesia, she earned her BSN at Spring Arbor University, Spring Arbor, Michigan. She worked as a staff nurse at Bronson Methodist Hospital for over ten years. She provided care to patients in the General Medical/Oncology, Cardiology, and Trauma/Surgical/Burn Critical Care Units. Dr. Lafler also has five years of experience as a clinical instructor at Kellogg Community College teaching students nursing skills in the hospital setting. For her training in nurse anesthesia, her clinical experience was completed at sites across Southeast Michigan, including Bronson Methodist Hospital, Allegiance Henry Ford Hospital, McLaren Great Lansing Hospital, Ascension St. John Hospital, Sparrow Hospital, Hillsdale Community Hospital, Oaklawn Hospital, and Hurley Medical Hospital. She has completed hundreds of anesthesia cases encompassing various specialties, anatomical locations, and anesthesia methods.
