Holly Schmidt, MD, is a family medicine physician with the Department of Family Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She is a graduate of Washington University in Saint Louis. She earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her residency in family medicine with the United States Naval Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She subsequently served as a staff family physician at Naval Hospital Yokosuka and with Fleet Surgical Team Three, including a deployment with the USS Essex Amphibious Readiness Group. Her clinical and teaching interests include medical education, preventive care, musculoskeletal conditions, and mental health.
