Biosketch

Stephanie Van Alsten, MD, is an emergency physician. She graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, in 2013 with a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Biology. She earned her medical degree from Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in 2019. She subsequently completed her residency in emergency medicine at the West Virginia University School of Medicine in 2022. Dr. Alsten is currently completing an emergency medical services fellowship. Her interests include rural EMS and disaster planning.
