Biosketch

Akeem Bello, MD, AH, BSN, received his undergraduate nursing degree at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Nigeria. He completed his degree in Medicine from Windsor University School of Medicine, St. Kitts & Nevis. He has over a decade of healthcare work experience. He is currently a resident physician with the Family Medicine Residency Program-Battle Creek at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Dr. Bello's interests include medical education, functional medicine, working with underserved patient populations, with a focus on addiction medicine, mental health, immigrant health, as well as the full spectrum of Family Medicine.
