Biosketch

Saffa Hamde, MD, is a resident physician in the Family Medicine Residency Program - Kalamazoo at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, Mississauga Campus, with an honors Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in human biology and physical anthropology. She earned her medical degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences. Her clinical and research interest includes women’s health, global health, community medicine, and refugee health. Dr. Hamde enjoys teaching and educating patients as well as mentoring medical students.
