Biosketch

Alex VanWoerkom, DO, is a resident physician in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He is a graduate of Grand Valley University where he obtained a degree in Biomedical Sciences. Following undergrad, he attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine where he served as vice president of the Emergency Medicine Club. His clinical, teaching, and research interests include medical education, emergency medical services, and underserved populations.
