Biosketch

Gayle Ruggiero, MD, is a board certified psychiatrist. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering before pursuing medicine at the Medical College of Ohio. She completed her Residency at The University of Chicago and University of Toledo College of Medicine. She has spent her post-residency years in higher education and has been the staff psychiatrist at Bowling Green State University, University of Toledo and Western Michigan University. She has participated in running the 3rd year clerkship in psychiatry and lead rotations and supervision at the University of Toledo, as well as at Western Michigan University in partnership with WMED and Pine Rest. She is currently the director of Primary Care Services at Western Michigan University's Sindecuse Health Center as well as the Medical Director, a position that she has held since 2018.
