Biosketch

Ahmed Aqeel, MD, MPH, is a board-certified nephrologist with the Nephrology Center in both Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is a graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. He earned a masters degree in public health administration from the University of Wales, Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. He completed an internship and an internal medicine residency with the University of North Dakota, Fargo, North Dakota. He completed a nephrology fellowship with Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Aqeel has participated in clinical trials for several pharmaceutical companies. He has clinical and research interests in kidney disease, hypertension, and fluid-electrolyte disorders.
