The medical school welcomes Juanita Moses, MD, as a new assistant professor and pediatrician in the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine.
Dr. Moses is board certified in pediatrics and, prior to her new role at the medical school, she spent nearly five years working as a pediatrician at Family Health Center in Kalamazoo. She has worked as a pediatrician in the Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo areas during the past 20 years. She also spent nearly nine years as a physician specializing in medical and surgical dermatology at Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center.
She is a graduate of Andrews University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. She earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
Dr. Moses completed her residency in pediatrics at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and has completed training in dermatology at Dermatology and Skin Surgery Center in Battle Creek.
Dr. Moses is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
