Biosketch

Judy Wheeler, MPM, is a program management specialist with the Department of Emergency Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is a graduate of Siena Heights University, Adrian, Michigan. She earned her master's degree in project management at Colorado State University. She is currently the State of Michigan National Disaster Life Support coordinator and works statewide to advance training in disaster management systems. She spent twelve years at Lake Michigan College training Emergency Medical Technicians and uses the experience as the director of the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine first-year medical student Medical First Responder course. In addition to coordinating the training for the EMS division, she is also the American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center Coordinator at WMed.
