Biosketch
Marijo Snyder, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and the interim chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a graduate of Calvin College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology/chemistry. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and went on to complete a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Snyder provided clinical care in Kalamazoo in private practice from 1988 to 2011. She has served in several leadership positions at Bronson Healthcare Group, including chief of staff at Bronson Methodist Hospital, board trustee, medical director, and vice president of System Quality. Her most recent position was vice president of Medical Staff Development and Clinical Engagement from 2015 until her retirement in 2019.
