Abigail Wen-Yu Cheng, MD

Biosketch

Abigail Cheng, MD, is a resident physician in general surgery at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Science Honors. She graduated from Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in 2021. Her clinical, teaching, and research interests include surgical oncology and medical education. She also has a focus on health equity, health equality, and vulnerable populations. She continues to be active in research with other WMed faculty, including Robert Sawyer, MD.
