Biosketch
Saraswati Krishna Keeni, MBBS, DTM&H, is a resident physician in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program - Kalamazoo at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She is a graduate of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India. After graduating she was part of two missions with Medecins Sans Frontieres in the primary care management of tropical diseases and HIV/MDR-TB/Hepatitis C. From 2019-2021 she completed her preliminary residency in Nagasaki University Hospital, Japan, and completed a master's in tropical medicine from the Nagasaki University Institute of Tropical Medicine and Global Health. She also completed two years in the Family Medicine program at WMed. Her interests include humanitarian medicine and tropical medicine.
