Biosketch

Katherine Tennant Beenen, PhD, is a Licensed Psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Psychology at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree at Albion College and completed her graduate training in School Psychology at Central Michigan University. Dr. Beenen completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Michigan Medicine, where she specialized in integrated behavioral health in pediatric primary care. In addition to these experiences, she has also worked as a psychologist in school and outpatient settings. Dr. Beenen currently provides consultation, evaluation, and brief intervention to children and adolescents through the Integrated Behavioral Health service.
