Biosketch

Rachel M Punke, DO, is a board-certified internal medicine hospitalist at Bronson Methodist Hospital and Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. She completed her internal medicine residency at Authority Health Graduate Medical Education Consortium in Detroit, Michigan. During her residency training, she completed a two year certificate program through the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Population Health and Health Equity. In her final year of residency she served as Chief Resident of her program. In the year after her graduation from residency, Dr. Punke served as the Associate Program Director of Authority Health Internal Medicine Residency, the program from which she graduated. Her clinical, teaching and research interests include resident education, functional medicine, health equity and quality improvement.
