Biosketch

Valrie Honablue, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is a graduate of Oakwood College, Huntsville, Alabama. She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee. She completed a pathology residency with Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine, Norfolk, Virginia. She later completed both a psychiatry residency and a fellowship in consultation liaison psychiatry from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to coming to WMed, Dr. Honablue has practiced in Georgia, Oregon, and on the east side of Michigan.
