Biosketch

Carter O Lomax, Jr, MD is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist practicing as the senior partner at OB GYN, PC, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Sinai Hospital of Detroit where he was awarded the Outstanding Intern and then Resident Awards and helped instruct courses in laser of the female lower genital tract. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in good standing, and a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is the Director of the AIUM Accredited Ultrasound Department in this office which he founded and has been accredited since 1990. He was previously an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine when those students were in Kalamazoo.
