Biosketch

Shane Santek, DO, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with Southwestern Michigan Emergency Services, PC, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree in Human Physiology from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. He attended medical school at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Midwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He worked as an attending physician in the ER from 2015 through 2019 for Franciscan Physician Network on the Indiana and Illinois border. He also supervised and worked with resident physicians through Midwestern University. In October 2019, Dr. Santek relocated to his home town and joined Southwestern Michigan Emergency Services and practices emergency medicine at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo.
