Biosketch

Melissa Houser, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician who currently works on the Bronson Newborn Hospitalist Service (BNHS) in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan. She earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her pediatric residency training at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, Michigan. She has been a general pediatrician since November 2003 and worked 10 years for Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics in New Philadelphia, OH. She has a wide range of clinical experience, having worked with different patient populations and in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. She enjoys seeing children of all ages, from infancy to adolescence. Her interests include maternal and child health, adolescent medicine, and childhood growth and development.
