Biosketch

Dr. Sharma Saith is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Vascular Medicine, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease. He is employed by St. Mary's Good Samaritan Medial Group. He is a graduate of The University of the West Indies in Physics with a BSc(Hons) in May 1969. He earned his MBBS also from The University of the West Indies in May 1978. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine from General Hospital Trinidad in October 1983. He then completed a Research Internship in Straight Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, Harlem Hospital Center in September 1984. He completed another Residency in Internal Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, Harlem Hospital Center in September 1986. He then completed a Fellowship in the College of Physicians and Surgeons from Columbia University, Harlem Hospital Center in September 1988.
