Biosketch

Spencer Winters, MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with Bronson Adult Critical Care at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He completed his medical school training at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan, which is also where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Dr. Winters completed his residency at the University of Michigan Health System in 2015 and completed his fellowship in Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2018. His research interests include temperature-targeted management of cardiac arrest patients in the ICU, severe Clostridium difficile infection in the ICU, and telomeropathies leading to interstitial lung disease and related immunologic defects in T cell function. His education interests include interstitial lung disease as well as ultrasonography in the acutely ill population.
