Jonathan L Martins, MD

Biosketch

Jonathan Martins, MD, is a board-certified family physician with Three Rivers Health, Three Rivers, Michigan. He earned his medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine, St Kitts. He completed his residency in family medicine at University of Illinois College of Medicine, Rockford, Illinois. At University of Illinois he developed an aptitude for teaching and co-chaired the Teaching Residents to Teach program.

Dr. Martins' interest in research lead him to complete multiple research presentations including a presentations at the American Academy of Family Medicine's Family Medicine Experience conference in 2016. He was one of the contributing editors to Blueprints Family Medicine, 4th edition. He has a special interest in diabetes management, sports medicine, urgent care, and the wide scope of family medicine.
