Biosketch

Alice Doe, MD, is a sleep medicine specialist physician. She was born and raised in Bucharest, Romania. She is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila in Bucharest, Romania. She moved to the United States, where she completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship in sleep medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She initially served as the Medical Director at Sleep Diagnostics of Michigan, P.C. in Northern Michigan for 3 years, caring for patients with sleep disorders in underserved areas, such as West Branch, Gaylord, Cheboygan, and Petoskey. Under her direct supervision as a medical director, the Sleep Centers in Petoskey and Gaylord received accreditation from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. She is currently the medical director for the sleep labs at Ascension/Borgess Battle Creek Health Park and Borgess-Lee in Dowagiac. She sees patients in the Borgess Pulmonary and Sleep Clinic in Kalamazoo, Portage, Battle Creek and Dowagiac. Since 2017, Dr. Doe has been teaching Sleep Medicine to fourth-year medical students from Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Her clinical and teaching interests include sleep apnea, cognitive behavior therapy for insomnia, pediatric sleep medicine. She had research interest in excessive daytime sleepiness in medical and sleep disorders.
