Biosketch

Edward Sternaman, II, MD is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist with Bronson Healthcare Group in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, Wisconsin. He is a graduate of Universidad Iberoamericana (Iberoamerican University) School of Medicine, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, then completed his residency in Internal Medicine with Michigan State University - Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. He has served as Associate Chief Hospitalist with Medfirst Hospitalist Physicians at Baptist Health System in San Antonio TX, where he assisted with operational management, and participated in key quality initiatives.

Dr. Sternaman has participated in neuroscience research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, assisting with neurohormonal investigations of neurotransmitters in the developing limbic brain. He currently is involved in medical education of residents and medical students, and also serves outreach to vulnerable populations.
