Biosketch

Dr. Marie Gregoire-Bottex is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. She is Board Certified in the American Board of Pediatric (Pediatric Pulmonology). She is employed with Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She earned her MD Universite d'Etat d'Haiti in September 1989. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Universite d'Etat d'Haiti Faculte de Medecine et de Pharmacie in September 1993. She completed another residency in Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College, Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in June 2004. Then she went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at New York Medical College, Maria Fareri Children Hospital and Blythedale Children's Hospital in June 2007. Before coming to WMed, Dr.Gregoire-Bottex was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Stony Brook University and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine where she also was the Director of the CF Center. She has multiple teaching appointments for medical students and residents. Her clinical work encompass general Pediatric Pulmonology with focus on asthma, cystic fibrosis, newborn screening, airway anomalies, aerodigestive disorders, bronchoscopy, and pulmonary function testings. She directs the CF and Severe Asthma multidisciplinary clinics, and the newborn screening follow up clinic. Her clinical research focus on Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, including newborn screening and Mental Health issues, and vitamin D deficiency.
