Biosketch

James Eichman, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist with Kalamazoo Anesthesiology in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He earned his medical degree from University of Texas at Dallas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed an internship in internal medicine with Baylor University Medical Center, also in Dallas. He completed a residency in anesthesiology with the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.

Dr. Eichman has been active with Borgess Medical Center's administration, serving at various times as a member of both the Borgess Medical Center Board and Borgess Health Alliance Board, the Medical Executive Committee, the Credentials Committee, the Strategic and Financial Planning Committee, the Joint Conference Committee, the Health Services and Quality Committee, the New Product and Procedure Committee, the Bylaws Committee, and the Patient Safety and Quality Committee. In addition, he has served as both Chief of the Department of Anesthesiology for Borgess Medical Center and as Chief of Staff for Borgess Medical Center.
