Biosketch

Timothy Cox, MD, FACP, is a medical oncologist. Dr. Cox received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and his medical degree from the University of Rome in Italy. He completed his residency in internal medicine at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit Michigan and went on to do his fellowship in medical oncology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan. From 1995 until 2013, Dr. Cox was in private practice primarily as head of his own practice, Blue Water Oncology in Port Huron, Michigan. Currently he is Managing Physician at Bronson Oncology and Hematology. Dr. Cox has a certificate in Lean Healthcare from University of Michigan and is interested in efforts to enhance the patient experience and improve quality.
