Biosketch
Michael Chafty, MD, JD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician with Kalamazoo Anesthesiology Pain Consultants in Portage, Michigan. He is a graduate of Albion College in Albion, Michigan. He earned his law degree from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan, then went on to earn his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. He completed his residency in anesthesiology and his fellowship in pain management with University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He currently serves as Director of Kalamazoo Anesthesiology Pain Consultants as well as being a full-time practicing pain management physician.
