Biosketch

Dr. Alan Halpern, is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is employed with Michigan Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation, PC. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Electrical Engineering in 1968. He also has an MA from Johns Hopkins University in Biomedical Engineering in 1970. He earned his MD from Yale University in 1974. He completed his Residency in Orhtopaedic Surgery from Stanford University in 1976. He also has another MA in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in 1978.
