Biosketch

Richard T. Jefson, MD, specializes in general and laparoscopic surgery. He has been in private practice in Kalamazoo since 1977 and has been an active member of the medical staff at Borgess since 1978.

Dr. Jefson is certified with the American Board of Surgery. He received a doctorate of medicine from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University in Chicago. He also earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.
