Biosketch

Stephanie Ellwood, DO, is a board-certified family physician in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She completed her undergraduate degree in Genomics and Molecular Genetics from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. She continued her education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2015. After medical school, she traveled across the country to Yakima, Washington, to complete her family medicine residency at Central Washington Family Medicine Residency. The following year, she stayed with the program as clinical faculty. Her clinical, teaching, and research interests include osteopathic manual medicine, point-of-care ultrasound, maternal health, medical education, and behavioral medicine integration.
