Biosketch

Dr. Cheryl Dickson is an Associate Dean for the Health Equity and Community Affairs Department in the Office the Dean. She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. She is employed by Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She is Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She is a graduate of Brown University with a BA in Human Biology (with Honors) in 1976. She earned her MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School in 1980. She completed her Residency in Pediatrics also at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School and Children's Hospital of New Jersey in 1983. She went on to do her Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School and Children's Hospital of New Jersey in 1984.
