Nayan Sarma, PhD, is a research assistant professor with the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. He has a doctorate in molecular biology with experience in both academic and industrial basic and pre-clinical research.
Dr. Sarma has extensive experience in biochemical, molecular, and cell biology techniques. He has identified signaling pathways involved in oncology, inflammation, autoimmune, and infectious diseases. He also has a patent to his credit.
