Biosketch

Santhosh Koshy, MBBS, DM, MA, MBA, is a board-certified interventional cardiologist. He is a Professor within the Department of Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he served as Department Chair and Division of Cardiology Chief from 2022-2026. He is a graduate of University of Kerala Trivandrum Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. He completed his first internship, residency, and cardiology fellowship with University of Kerala Trivandrum Medical College, as well. Dr. Koshy then came to the United States, completing an internship and internal medicine residency with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, Saint Louis, Missouri. He then completed a fellowship in adult cardiovascular medicine with the University of Missouri, Columbia, Columbia, Missouri. He then completed an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology and peripheral interventions with the University of Alabama-Birmingham, Birmingham, Alabama. He has also earned an MBA from Washington University Olin Business School, Saint Louis, Missouri, a financial management certification from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, and a master of arts degree in medical law and health policy.
