Alana Pinheiro Alves, MD, is a resident physician in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the Universidade Federal do Para, located in Belem, Brazil. Alana has great interest in Infectious Diseases, especially in the HIV/AIDS field, and Critical Care. She aims to reduce health disparities and implicit bias in healthcare.
