Biosketch

Janine Fung, MD, is a resident physician in the Pediatrics Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario Canada. During that time, she led several medical and educational volunteer outreach trips in Central and South America. She earned her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean. During her medical school training, she was involved with research projects including exploring the effect of feeding habits on iron deficiency anemia in a pediatric population at the Royal Blackburn Hospital in Blackburn, England, UK. Dr. Fung's clinical, research, and education interests include global health, general pediatrics, and allergy and immunology.
