Biosketch
Christine George, MD, is a board-certified pediatric hospitalist. She received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and earned her medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. She has continued to work with Carilion Clinic remotely as a Pediatric Clinical Informatics Specialist and is a certified Epic EMR Physician Builder. She is currently the Medical Director of Newborn Services at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo where she also serves as an attending pediatric hospitalist. Her clinical, teaching, and research interests include pediatric hospital medicine, infectious disease, public and community health, and health information technology.
