In December 2017, Detroit-area E.M.M.A. International Consulting Group, Inc. became a Wall-of-Fame sponsor of the Innovation Center. In addition, E.M.M.A. International is also a lunch-and-learn sponsor, supporting the client lunch in February 2018.
The Innovation Center was conceived in 2000 by a cadre of community leaders who sought to find a way to manage the economic uncertainty presented by the turbulent pharmaceutical industry.
The Innovation Center hosts a quarterly business plan pitch coaching session called the Kalamazoo Venture Tuesday meetings.
