Biosketch

Hanan Alhyari, MD, is a resident physician in the Pediatric Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She earned her medical degree from the Hashemite University School of Medicine, Al-Zarqa, Jordan. In 2018, Dr. Alhyari completed an internship at the Ministry of Health Hospitals. She worked for a year after that in the clinical setting to promote child and maternal health in underserved communities. She then worked as a pediatric resident physician for two years at King Hussain Cancer Center, Amman, Jordan. She has interests in child and adolescent psychiatry, child development along with academic teaching, and research interests.
