Biosketch

Daniel Waters, MD, is a resident physician in the Psychiatry Residency Program at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M. D. School of Medicine, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He received his undergraduate degree from the Lee Honors College at Western Michigan University and was employed as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Biological Sciences and contributed to research in neuroplasticity. He received his medical degree from Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, where he received the John M. Dunn Endowed Scholarship and the Outstanding Student Award from the Department of Psychiatry, and co-founded the Leadership Development Interest Group for medical students. Dr. Waters's research and clinical interests include the neuroplasticity of biopsychosocial interventions, the therapeutic alliance, and servant leadership focused leadership development.
